Product description

The On Balance SH-100 Shine is a compact digital mini scale for small, precise weighing jobs. It has a 100g maximum capacity with 0.01g readability, so it is suited to weighing out small amounts rather than guessing.

The chrome-finish case comes in Gold Chrome or Rainbow Chrome, with a backlit LCD that is easier to read in less-than-brilliant light. It measures 110 x 73 x 18mm overall, with a 71 x 58mm weighing platform, so it is small enough to keep tucked away with the rest of your bits.

You can switch between grams, ounces, troy ounces, pennyweights, carats and grains. There is also tare, calibration, overload protection and a counting function. Two AAA batteries and a user guide are included, so it is ready to use out of the box.

A 0.01g scale is the sort of thing you either need or you do not, but if you do, guessing soon gets old. This one is properly pocket-sized without making the platform ridiculously tiny. The Gold Chrome is loud, the Rainbow Chrome is louder. Handy features too: tare, a lit display and batteries included, so you are not rummaging through drawers before first use.
