Product description

The On Balance CBS-3000 is a compact bench scale with a 3000g maximum capacity and 0.1g readability. It is a sensible size for keeping on a worktop, desk or shelf when you need a proper weighing platform rather than a tiny pocket scale.

The built-in stainless steel platform is paired with tare, calibration and overload protection functions. You can switch between grams, ounces, troy ounces and pennyweights, and the automatic shut-off can be selected to suit how you use it. A 9V battery is included, so it is ready to get going without a separate battery hunt.

Useful for accurately weighing larger amounts of loose material, small parts or other bits where a tenth of a gram matters. It also comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty.

This is a proper little bench scale, not one of those pocket jobs that runs out of room as soon as you put a decent-sized tray on it. The 3000g capacity is generous, the 0.1g reading is still usefully precise, and the tare button saves a lot of needless subtraction. Nice that the 9V battery is already included as well.
