The Nostromo Flannel Chequered Combat Trousers are bright, loose-fitting trousers for days when plain clothes simply won’t do. They’re handmade in Nepal and made from soft brushed cotton flannel, with a chequered finish that is very much not trying to blend in.

Both Large and XL have a waist that stretches from around 30 to 46 inches. A drawstring lets you pull them in rather than relying on the elastic alone. Large has an inseam of approximately 74cm, while XL is approximately 78cm.

They suit lounging, festivals, dressing up, or just wearing something with a bit more life than the usual black trousers. Pick the inseam that makes sense for you and enjoy the fact that nobody will mistake these for office wear.

These are for people who’ve made peace with being noticed. The chequered flannel is loud, the waist has plenty of give, and the drawstring is there to stop things becoming too roomy. Large and XL differ mainly in inseam, so it’s worth checking that rather than assuming one is simply bigger all over. Very decent trousers for sofa days and festival wandering alike.
