These black and blue flannel combat trousers are the sort you pull on for a festival weekend, a lazy Sunday or when proper jeans feel like hard work. They’re handmade in Nepal using traditional techniques, with a drawstring waist so you can pull the fit in rather than relying on a fixed size.

They come in Large and Extra Large. Both sizes stretch from around a 30-inch waist to around 46 inches at full stretch. Large has an inseam of around 74cm, while Extra Large measures around 78cm. The flannel gives them a softer, more relaxed feel than standard combat trousers.

A straightforward pair of loose, alternative trousers with enough adjustment to make the sizing less of a gamble.

These are for days when you can’t be bothered with trousers that need negotiating with. The drawstring is useful, especially as both sizes have plenty of stretch through the waist. Large is a little shorter in the leg at around 74cm; Extra Large gives you roughly another 4cm. Proper relaxed festival and sofa trousers, not office combats pretending to be fun.
