These Epsilon Chequered Flannel Combat Trousers are properly loud, in bright pink and blue checks. They are handmade in Nepal using traditional techniques, with brushed cotton flannel that gives them a softer feel than stiff combat trousers.

There are pockets on each leg for the bits you want close at hand, and a drawstring lets you pull the waist in. Both Large and XL stretch from around a 30-inch waist to about 46 inches at full stretch, so there is a fair bit of give in them.

Large has an inseam of around 74cm; XL comes in at around 78cm. Pick them for festivals, dressing up, lounging about, or simply because plain trousers have had enough attention already.

These are not trousers for blending into the background, which is rather the point. The pink and blue chequered pattern is full-on, but the brushed flannel makes them much nicer to wear than they first look. The drawstring is useful too, as both sizes have plenty of stretch. Good festival trousers, or just the answer to another boring pair of jeans.
