Shiva on Tiger Skin Batik Small

Product description

A hand-finished batik wall hanging showing Shiva seated on a tiger skin, with half-closed eyes and plenty of detail to take in once it is up on the wall.

It measures approximately 82cm x 56cm, so it has enough presence for a bedroom, living room, music room or that bit of wall which has been looking a bit bare. Choose from Stone, Blue, Purple, Brown, Green or Orange. As each one is hand finished, the colours can vary slightly from the photo and from one piece to the next.

The tiger-skin image is part of the traditional Shiva artwork rather than a random big-cat print. A decent-sized batik for anyone after proper hippy homeware with a familiar Hindu image.

This is a good, proper wall-sized batik rather than a little postcard print. The Shiva-on-tiger-skin artwork has a lot going on, but it still reads clearly from across the room. At roughly 82cm wide, it fills a bare patch of wall nicely. Just bear in mind the hand-finished colours will not be factory-identical, which is rather the point.
