A large Elven Square Jali Oil Burner with cut-out Jali-style detailing and floral engraving around the body. Put a tealight beneath it, add water and a few drops of your chosen fragrance oil above, and it gives the room a proper bit of atmosphere without needing much shelf space.

It comes in five colour options: Burnt Umber, Plum, Black, Blue and Green. The square shape and patterned cut-outs make it a better-looking option than a plain burner, especially if it is going to live out on a table or sideboard.

Keep an eye on the water level while it is in use. Once the water has evaporated, put the tealight out rather than letting it carry on burning.

The cut-out work is what makes these. A plain oil burner does the job, but this one throws a bit of pattern around when there is a tealight in it. The Plum and Burnt Umber versions are particularly good if black feels a little too predictable. Just do not let the tealight keep burning after the water has gone, as that is how burners get ruined.
