Product description

A square wooden ashtray with a brass bowl, four cigarette rests and a pull-out drawer underneath. It is handmade in India and measures roughly 11cm x 11cm, standing 6.5cm high, so it is compact enough for a smoking table without disappearing under the usual bits and pieces.

The brass bowl is around 30mm deep, with four holders around the edge. The drawer at the front is the useful part: somewhere to put papers, filter tips and the other small smoking odds that otherwise wander off. Smooth varnished wood and brass give it a properly old-school look, while the small elephant motifs on the sides and back keep it from being too plain.

A tidy, solid little ashtray for anyone who likes their smoking bits kept together.

This is the sort of ashtray that earns its spot on the table. The brass bowl has four proper rests, and the drawer stops papers and tips ending up scattered about like confetti. At 11cm square it is compact, but it has some weight to it at 330g. The little elephant details are a nice touch too.
