The Narcissa dungarees are a baggy, forest green striped pair for festivals, beach days and generally refusing to dress like everyone else. They’re handmade in Nepal from 100% cotton, with buttoned shoulder straps so you can alter the length to suit.

There are seven pockets in total: one front pocket, two side pockets, two back pockets and two combat-style pockets on the legs. That’s plenty of places for the small stuff you don’t want rattling about in a bag.

They come in Large, with a 78cm inseam, and XL, with an 82cm inseam. Loud enough to get noticed, but still a straightforward pair of dungarees you can wear all day.

These are properly loud dungarees, which is rather the point. The forest green stripes won’t disappear into the background, and the seven pockets are genuinely useful rather than decorative nonsense. I also like the buttoned straps: a small detail, but handy when you want to change the fit without messing about. Good festival trousers if shorts aren’t your thing.
