A wooden incense boat for burning stick incense without scattering ash across the table. It has a hole at the raised, curved end to hold the stick at an angle, while the long tray catches the ash as it falls.

Each boat measures approximately 260mm x 35mm x 4mm, so there is a decent run of tray beneath the incense. The metallic embossed designs give them the traditional incense-shop look rather than leaving you with a plain bit of wood.

Useful on a shelf, coffee table or wherever you normally burn a stick. Put it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep it clear of anything that can catch fire, and don’t leave incense burning unattended.

A proper old-school incense boat, this. The hole at the curved end keeps the stick in place and the long tray does the unglamorous job of catching the ash. The metallic embossed pattern is the reason to pick one over a plain holder, really. Just bear in mind that, like any incense burner, it needs a sensible surface and shouldn’t be left burning on its own.
