A heavy cotton bedspread with a black and white circular print of elephants and floral detail. It measures approximately 2346mm wide by 2020mm long, so it has plenty of presence on a bed or can be used as a large throw over furniture.

The monochrome print is a good one if you like the elephant look but don’t want a room full of colour. It works as a straightforward bedroom layer, a sofa throw, or a wall hanging for anyone after some proper hippy homeware rather than a plain textile.

Each one is handmade and hand printed in India using traditional techniques, so slight differences in the print and finish are part of the deal. That means yours may not be identical to the photo, which is rather the point with hand-printed pieces.

This is a proper big bedspread, not a little throw pretending to be one. The black and white elephant print is easier to live with than some of the louder designs, but it still has enough going on to stop a room looking dull. As it’s hand printed, expect small variations rather than factory-perfect repetition.
